College Searches: Where Do I Begin / Does It Really Matter Where I Go


This workshop helps students start the college search process by providing tips on how to begin and what to look for in a college. Also discussed is why it might matter more where you get your graduate degree as opposed to your undergraduate degree.

College Admission Interview / Essay Writing Workshops


This workshop introduces students to how college admission officer read college essays. We will explain why the traditional 5-paragraph essay is not recommended for a college essay and how to conduct an admission interview to enhance your chances for admission.

Financial Aid Workshops For Students and Parents


This workshop provides students and parents with detailed information about the financial aid process, from completing the application forms to the details of each source of financial aid.

College Planning For High School Juniors and their Parents


This workshop will help your students and parents understand why researching colleges your junior year will make the college process a lot easier. We will discuss the definition of Early Decision, Early Action, as well as other admission requirements. We will provide them with tips on writing essays and conducting interviews. An introduction to the financial aid process is also provided.

Financing Options... Making up the Difference Between the Cost of Attendance and Financial Aid


In this workshop students and parents will learn about the various loans, financing options and payment plans available.

Financial Aid 101 for Guidance Counselors... What Are Your Questions


This group workshop with the guidance staff will provide you with answers to questions or concerns that you have about the financial aid process.
